The processing of personal data on behalf of charity clients

Our charity clients engage with Gilcore in order for us to supply them with long-term supporters. In order to do so we need to process data on their behalf - throughout this arrangement it will be the case that the charity is the Data Controller and Gilcore is the Data Processor.

Gilcore will not sell your personal data to any third parties and it will only share your personal data with third parties that: (i) have been approved by the Data Controller and; (ii) are necessarily in order to process your donation.

Your data will only held by Gilcore and third parties used to help with the setup of your donation for as long as is deemed necessary by agreement between Gilcore and the Data Controller, and certainly this time period will not exceed twelve months.

When you agree to sign-up to support one of charity clients we will ask you to confirm your preferences for marketing contact. If you elect not to opt-in for marketing contact by any specific channel, then Gilcore will not send you marketing correspondence by that channel. It will also pass on your marketing preferences onto the Data Controller and they will be bound to ensure they also respect these marketing contact preferences. In setting up your donation we may need to send you one-off administrative correspondence by one or more channel for which you have not opted in for marketing contact. It should explicitly be noted that the purpose of this correspondence will be administration rather than marketing.
